Ohh well. Crappy fight. Haye just couldn't get close after the first few rounds. Didn't deserve anything. The Vlad jab was just to much.

Quote from Boris Lozac :Will it be on some of the BBC chanels perhaps?

No. It's on Sky PPV over here

Quote from DevilDare :Tonight!

Tyson reckons Haye wont be standing past the 3rd round.

I'm confident Haye's going to knock him out.

DFGT. Best low cost wheel by a long shot.

Pedals are a bit crap though. You'll probably want to upgrade them after a few months, but they do the job for a while.

It's fantastic on the oval side, in comparison to the old one. That's not to say its perfect in any way, but it is in beta and its a 100% improvement already.

It seems a bit funky on road courses to me, but it's a shit car for road racing anyway, and I've never driven the Impala on a road course before so I'm probably not best placed to critique it.

I cant wait to try it on the single seaters to get a proper feel for how it compares to netKar.

Quote from Boris Lozac :Just watched 30 minutes of "Paul", really bad humour tbh, couldn't stand more of it and watched "No strings attached", it saved the night.

Are you sure you haven't got those two films the wrong way round?

No Strings Attached was garbage of the highest order. Absolute trash.

Quote from Tuze :Ironically, I have a feeling this game might have alot better tire modelling than iRacing does.

There's no doubt about it at the moment.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :If you guys aren't watching Game of Thrones, you ought to be.

Even better, read the books.

Best TV show since The Wire.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to put off reading the books for a few years. Knowing what is going to happen will ruin the series for me.

Quote from tinvek :h can't help feeling they should have worked up to this by picking a quieter night to hold a test first and then build the numbers up, i'm guessing there's going to be a lot of complaints about peoples' saturday racing being spoilt

Damn right. I wasnt interested in the QA race, but its totally screwed my nights racing. Not happy.

Quote from Gentlefoot : even if the physics aren't quite right which is what some people seem to be saying...

A sim doesn't exist sim where the some aspect of the physics isn't quite right

Good to see you around GF. Hope to see you in iRacing soon.

I fired up LFS yesterday for the first time in a year probably, just to check out the latest patch. As much as I loved LFS when i was racing it, my god does it feel extremely dated compared to iRacing. Theres no going back now. S3 will have to be something out of this world to get me back now.

Quote from Chrisuu01 :Found the problem somehow noscript doesn't really like iRacing that much.

You got it sorted? iRacing is fine with noscript if you do the following :-

You can add an exception for iRacing. WIthin NoScript options, go to the ABE tab. There are 2 rulesets by default (I believe); SYSTEM and USER. Edit the SYSTEM ruleset and make it look like the following (see below) and you should be good to keep ABE enabled.

Quote from DeKo : you're getting the honour of being the first person on my ignore list

What a fine idea. I haven't had to use the ignore function for years. This braindead idiot is a fine candidate to put it back in action.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :And for the record, I find the jubilant celebrations in the streets over here a bit weird.

I find it as nauseating as the scenes of Arabs dancing in the streets celebrating the death of Westerners.

It was just an excuse to America to flex it military muscle. For Bush Jr to finish off the job his dad failed to do and get rid of Saddam They had been waiting for an excuse to do it and this was the perfect opportunity.

They expected it to be over in a matter of days/weeks and to send out a message to the terrorist groups that you "Don't mess with America/The West" (even though Iraq hadn't messed with America ) and to try and show the American public that they were "doing something"

I don't think there was anything more to it than that. Oil had nothing to do with it.

It had nothing to do with Iraq being a threat to the world, and nothing to do with terrorists, which was clear to see for virtually every other major country in the world, hence their refusal to get involved.

Anyhow..this is getting off topic.

Osama dead. I agree with Nitro. It's a nothing story. Changes nothing, apart from it being more likely that we have a major terrorist attack in the next few months.

Quote from pearcy_2k7 :Looking back now, yes. At the time, no.

At the time Iraq had no al Qaeda terrorists, and absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. The "evidence" that they had WMD's was very sketchy to say the least, and the American and British security services knew that.

The whole thing was a sham from day 1, and most of the rest of the world were sensible enough not to join the coalition because they recognised that fact.

So we didn't invade Iraq under false pretences then?

Quote from pearcy_2k7 : although mostly it's our fault because we seem to have to be the heros everytime it pisses me off everyone else sits on their arses even when they've been attacked.

Maybe everyone else isn't comfortable with invading countries under false pretence that it's solving the "terrorist" problem.

Quote from funRacer[83] :yeah sure I am going to post my real name on some forum so some troll can check if I am a good enough driver. Oh mate..

The fact that you're now accusing me of being a troll speaks volumes.
you've gone into full on defensive mode because you know full well your stats and race record will reveal the truth..

We've seen it a thousand times on the iRacing forums.

"Whinge, moan, SR is broken and unfair, blah ,blah ,blah" One check of the stats and race results reveals said whinger to be utterly inept.

oh, less of the "mate" thanks kid.
